Why did I join the Mechatronics Academy?
I joined the Academy of Mechatronics program because I felt as if I needed to learn more. From the option courses that I've attended in Grade 9, I believe that those courses have pushed me towards learning more and more about the robotics and mechanics fields of work. And as I saw that the Mechatronics program was about to start for next year's Grade 10 students, I didn't hesitate a second, because I knew that an opportunity like this only comes once in a while. And I've always been told to never miss out on opportunities. Especially opportunities which can aid me in pursuing a career that I may enjoy.
What has the Mechatronics Academy helped me with?
The Mechatronics program has helped me gain knowledge and experience in certain Mechanics and Robotics fields. Fields that I think I could have never been able to cover in a regular option class. The Academy has also helped with guiding me towards different career paths that I may consider when graduating from a post-secondary institution.
